“Evolution of existence drives my work. Celebrating the force that is integral to becoming and being. Emergence of the ‘no thing’ into ‘something’.
Integrating abstraction of mathematics with the multiples discarded from human industry creates a transmogrifying experience.”

Virginia Ward majored in sculpture at Curtin University, before completing a Master of Arts in Fine Arts at Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne. She has taught fine art at all levels of education in both Western Australia and Victoria, and is represented in private collections, as well as those of the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery.
