Having an enduring preoccupation with the relationship between the human and natural worlds, Holly Story brings her rich narrative vocabulary to Sculpture at Bathers 2017.
Her practice has taken in printmaking, embroidery, installation, video and, of course, sculpture, and at its core is a 30-year relationship with her research site on the Deep River, on the south coast of Western Australia.
Story’s work for this year’s exhibition marks a new direction in her practice with a live storytelling event scheduled to accompany the piece.
